Writing your first blog post can take a long time…

If you let it :) This is what I have been doing for a couple of months. Or rather haven't been doing.

If you let it  🙂

This is what I have been doing for a couple of months. Or rather haven’t been doing.

And the reason for this no-excuse procrastination? Too much client work on the go is what I have been telling people, and sure there’s been enough client work going on, but the real reason is that I don’t want to get it wrong! Yes, don’t get it wrong, because people will judge you! It’s a silly no-excuse, yes it is. Because sometimes you just have to get off your proverbial and just start. Then rinse and repeat. That’s what it’s all about, so I’ve learned from many a source online. You know the ones with their lists of Do’s and Don’t’s about content writing and blogging. But there is a lot to be said for reading and learning from those writers as I hope you will see in later posts. People are way too busy these days to read paragraphs and paragraphs of unbroken text (a little like these) and soon get bored and you lose them half way through a long article.

Oh look, a kitten:

A cute ginger kitten

Aren’t images great to break up text? There will be more again soon 🙂

So here it is, my first, not-very-useful-but-gives-you-a-tiny-insight-into-Sail blog post that you will take absolutely nothing of value from.

Or will you?
