How to write a good 40 second pitch

Last week I attended a 4Networking development event where I learned how to write a good 40 second pitch round.

So in order to create a 40 seconds round that has impact and is effective, here are the questions you need to answer:

  1. Who you are
  2. What you do
  3. How you do it
  4. What other people have said about what you do
  5. Remind people who you are again

So my 40 seconds round would look something like this:

My name is Sail and I run As in Boat Limited and I am 4N Group Coordinator in Ely.

I am the content guy, I help businesses with their copywriting, social media management, promotional material production and productivity.

I work with you to say the right things about your business so you can reach more customers.

Clients have said I create, “compelling copy that is dynamic and commercially effective”.

I am Sail of As in Boat Limited and I love helping businesses say the right things at the right time.

What do you think?
